Ines has an unusual musical path for today’s occasions, which may remind us of former American jazz greats, mostly self-taught, and even growing up in the bombed and destroyed city, where at that time she was learning by listening to jazz singer Billie Holiday and Ella Fitzgerald and jazz instrumentalists Chet Baker, Miles Davis and John Coltrane, who, thanks to their expressive voice and sense of jazz interpretation without a single day of music school, became one of today’s most prestigious Croatian jazz singers.
